Indiana State Police Sgt. Jerry Goodin said last week that ISP is working to get a better schedule of when super loads — like the one above hauling beams for the Interstate 69 project — are going to be coming into the area so media can alert drivers to expect delays crossing the Sherman Minton bridge. Goodin said these superloads require bridge traffic to be shut down in both directions for up to 30 minutes while the loads pass through.
