Six Clark County projects recently received a total of $42,000 in grants that will benefit walkability and bikeability for individuals, families, and the community at large, thanks to the Growing Healthy Lives initiative and the Greater North Clark Healthcare Foundation. Representing the recipients were, from left to right, B. J. Lynton, assistant superintendent of the Clarksville Parks Department; Jillian Cantu, director of  advancement at Ivy Tech; Angel Jackson, councilwoman for the town of Utica; Les Wright, president of the Borden Parks Department board; Jennifer Badger, Henryville Youth Sports board member; and Shane Corbin, director of planning and zoning for the city of Jeffersonville.
