$1 million Powerball winner purchased in Jeffersonville

INDIANAPOLIS — Someone who purchased a Powerball ticket at a Jeffersonville retailer for Wednesday’s drawing is now holding a $1 million winner, according to a press release from the Hoosier Lottery.

The ticket, which was the only one in the nation to match the first five numbers but not the Powerball number, was purchased at Circle K at 3830 Hamburg Pike in Jeffersonville.

The winning numbers drawn were:  1-36-40-52-53 PB:20.

No one nationwide matched all six numbers, so Saturday's Powerball jackpot has grown to an estimated $70 million.
