GIRLS' BASKETBALL REGIONALS: Jeff edges Columbus East to move into final; Borden, Silver Creek fall in semis

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — The Jeffersonville girls' basketball team edged Columbus East, 53-52 on Saturday in the IHSAA Class 4A Bedford Regional semifinal to earn a spot in Saturday night's regional final against Mooresville. The Red Devils will try to earn their first regional crown in 13 years tonight at 8:00 pm. Get game updates live on our twitter feed at http://twitter.com/#!/newstribscores.

Also in IHSAA regional action Saturday, Silver Creek fell to No. 1 Evansville Memorial 51-27 in the Class 3A Jasper Regional semifinal. At the Class A Loogootee Regional Tecumseh defeated Borden, 42-32.
