CLARK COUNTY — Construction on the east-end portion of the Ohio River Bridges Project will result in some upcoming road and lane closures in Indiana and Kentucky.

In Indiana, one eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be closed on Interstate 265 from the 10th Street interchange to about one mile west of the interchange, from Oct. 16 through Oct. 18. The lane closures will be in place 24-hours-per-day during this period.

One northbound lane and one southbound lane of Ind. 62 will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. starting Oct. 16 through the morning of morning Oct. 18 about half-a-mile north and south of the I-265 interchange.

The ramps at the interchange of I-265 and Ind. 62 will be periodically closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Oct. 16 through Oct. 18.

In addition, there will be some shoulder closures and other possible lane restrictions on Port Road between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Oct. 16 through Oct. 18, from I-265 to about one mile south of Port Road.

In Kentucky, there will be shoulder closures on both Wolf Pen Branch Road and Springdale Road, near their intersection, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 11.

Both roads will also be restricted to one lane periodically and traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
