LOUISVILLE — Planners with the Ohio River Bridges Project are giving people a bird’s eye view of the construction of the downtown portion of the Ohio River Bridges Project.

People can watch the progress being made on the project from their computers, tablets and smart phones. Six construction cameras are installed and operating, offering views of the work on the Ohio River and on both shores, according to a press release.

The six cameras offer four different angles, updated around the clock, can be viewed by going to newsandtribune.com and clicking on our “Bridges Project” logo on the right side of our homepage.

The webcam features include a time lapse option, which allows viewers to watch the work to date in a matter of seconds. Viewers can zoom in on a shot, print an image, and email a picture to themselves or others. They can also view images from previous days of construction.

The cameras are operated by OxBlue, in conjunction with Walsh Construction.
