Company consolidates operations in Jeffersonville

Merged operations under one roof

JEFFERSONVILLE — Another company is consolidating its operations in Jeffersonville.

Heumann Environmental Company announced Monday that it is moving all of the company’s operations under one roof off Middle Lane in Jeffersonville.

“Basically, we wanted to put our sales team together with our engineering and fabrication division to make sure our designs were optimized and we were putting out product of the highest quality,” said Ryan Bruner, vice president, Heumann Environmental Co.

By moving engineering and corporate functions into its existing Jeffersonville facility, all of the company’s functions will be in one location. Prior to the move the company’s environmental and wastewater operations were merged into a single company, Heumann Environmental Company.

The shift to one location will bring about five employees from an office location on Brownsboro Road in Louisville to the Jeffersonville industrial park.

To accomodate the employees office space was added inside the existing building, Bruner said.

The company employs a total of more than 30 people.
