Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services recognized as a ‘Best Regional Hospital’

Only Southern Indiana hospital to make U.S. News & World Report's list

NEW ALBANY — Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services has been ranked as a “Best Regional Hospital” for the Louisville Metro Area out of 28 facilities in U.S. News & World Report’s 2013-14 Best Hospitals rankings.

Floyd Memorial is the only Southern Indiana hospital to make the list. The hospital is recognized in two specialty areas, gastroenterology and pulmonology. Floyd Memorial is also ranked among the top 10 hospitals in the state of Indiana.  

U.S. News and World Report recognizes facilities that score highly in patient safety, demonstrating commitment to reducing accidents and medical mistakes.
