LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A 52-year-old is dead after a wreck along Interstate 65.
The crash happened at 11:55 p.m. Friday near the Lebanon Junction.
Crash investigators said that a car driven by Jeremy Cheser, of Jeffersonville, Ind., dropped off the edge of the roadway, lost control and overturned in the median, striking another vehicle.
An officer said Charles Chesher, 52, of Jeffersonville, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from Jeremy Cheser's car.
Charles Cheser was struck by the second vehicle, driven by Christa Weber, 35, of Cincinnati. She was not injured in the crash.
The victim was declared dead at the scene.
Three other passengers in the first vehicle suffered minor injuries. No one in Weber's vehicle was injured.
