Two arrested after morning shooting in New Washington

Two people were arrested following a reported shooting in New Washington shortly after midnight this morning.
At least one caller phoned dispatch about 12:30 a.m. reporting they had been shot at. Sherry May with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department said shots were fired at some point during the incident, but no one was injured.
Ricky L. McCoy, 23, was charged with two counts of operating while intoxicated as class A and C misdemeanors and class C felony criminal recklessness. Wendeline G. Price, 20, was charged with illegal consumption, because she is a minor in terms of state alcohol laws.
Although the shooting occurred in New Washington, the two were later arrested along the 1500 block of East 10th Street in Jeffersonville.
Further details were not available by press deadline today.
