Poems, stories sought about parks

Submissions are being accepted for poems and short nonfiction stories about Indiana State Parks and Reservoirs for “Naturally Yours.”

Organizers are seeking submissions about the Falls of the Ohio State Park and Charlestown State Park for “Naturally Yours,” a collection of poems and stories about Indiana State Parks that will be compiled into a book. The editors would like to include poems and stories about every Indiana state park.

Proceeds from the book will be donated to Discovering the Outdoors Fund in the Indiana Natural Resources Foundation, which helps pay for school groups to visit Indiana state parks and reservoirs.

For guidelines on submissions or for more information visit parkpoems.com. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 21.
