CLARK COUNTY — Kentuckiana Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a shooting that occurred on Interstate 65 in Clark County last month.

The organization reported that road rage led to motorist shooting from one vehicle into another near Veterans Parkway Dec. 6. No one was injured during the incident.

“The wanted person pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle and fired into the driver’s side window, shattering it,” according to a mews release.

The gunfire is believed to have come from a newer model two-door Chevrolet Silverado, possible silver in color, with a black toolbox and slightly tinted windows with an Indiana license plate.

A white man 30 to 50 years old was seen driving the pickup truck.

Kentuckiana Crime Stoppers will pay $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the incident.

Those with information of the incident are asked to call 502-582-CLUE [2583].

Callers are able to remain anonymous.
