Clark County Commissioners approve 911 contract

County in talks with municipalities to share $16,500 monthly bill

Patricia Vogt, a resident who lives along Charlestown Pike, appeared before the commissioners to ask that they enforce a remediation agreement between the county and the Southern Indiana Treatment Center.

The clinic, which prescribes and supplies methadone to its patients, is supposed to operate five days per week, but has been operating every day, Vogt said.

Vogt is also concerned about traffic in the area, as many of the cars entering and exiting the clinic are from out of state and often enter and exit the parking lot without regard for oncoming traffic, Vogt said.

The commissioners asked Elder to review issues at the clinic and determine what parts of the remediation agreement are not being followed. Elder said he will report his findings at the commissioners’ Feb. 28 meeting.
