Louisville Triple Crown of Runnning

The dates for the 2014 Louisville Triple Crown of Running have been announced.

The Louisville Triple Crown of Running is three road races of varying distances that will take place beginning Saturday, Feb. 22 with the Anthem 5K Fitness Classic; continue on Saturday, March 8 with the Rhodes City Run 10K; and wrap up on Saturday, March 22 with the Papa John’s 10 Miler.

In 2013 the races had nearly 30,000 runners participating in all three events, resulting in a record donation of $190,126 presented to the WHAS Crusade for Children. Since 2002, the race series has contributed more than $1.2 million to the Crusade.

Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, Inc. --a world leader in diabetes care-- will return in 2014 as a presenting sponsor for the Triple Crown, marking the 11th year it will sponsor the race series.
