Society to host ‘Battle of Corydon’
The Historical Society of Harrison County will host “The Battle of Corydon” by Bryan Bush at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 at Harrison County Community Foundation, 1523 Foundation Way, in Curydon.

Earth Day celebration at the Falls
The Falls of the Ohio State Park will host an Earth Day Celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 with free admission, courtesy of Jamey Aebersold, to the park’s interpretive center.
The celebration will include exhibitors and vendors, kids’ activities, entertainment and music. Jamey Aebersold’s Jazz Quartet will perform as part of the celebration as well.
Other activities include a live raptor program by Hardy Lake Raptor Rehab, kite flying, face painting, seed planting, pictures with Smokey the Bear, crafts, hiking and a demonstration of Junk Genius’ Robots, made out of recycled toys.
The first 300 visitors to the park will also receive free tree seedlings.
5R Processors Ltd. and the Friends of the Greenway are sponsoring a Community Electronics Recycling drop-off point at the park during the event and environmental groups will share ideas for being good stewards of the earth. Local businesses will also demonstrate earth-friendly products and activities.

Craft bazaar is Saturday
Georgetown Rainbow’s End Childcare, 1099 Marci Lane, Georgetown, will have a craft bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the childcare center.
Admission is free. Artists will be selling their handmade and professional items, including yard art, children’s clothing, floral, crocheted items, engraved bake ware, painted collectibles, jewelry, handbags, dips, mixes and much more.
