Learn how to make wreaths

The Sunnyside Master Gardeners are offering a wreath making class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7,  at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds, 9608 Ind. 62, Charlestown.

With the assistance of Sunnyside Master Gardeners, master your talents at wreath-making using a large variety of fresh holiday greens, cones, berries and dried materials that come from the Master Gardeners’ own landscapes and gardens.

Class size is limited to 125 participants and registration is first come, first serve the morning of the class. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The fee, which includes a ribbon, is $20 when you bring back a prior years’ wreath form or $25 when you purchase a new reusable wreath form at the door.

Church hosting craft bazaar

Tunnel Hill Christian Church, 5105 Old Georgetown Road, Georgetown, will sponsor a craft bazaar from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6 and Dec. 7, at the church.

Handmade crafts will be sold by local artist and church members that make special gifts for the holidays, including jewelry, toys, wreaths, glassware and more.

There also will be food for sale. The Friday menu is homemade vegetable soup, cornbread, dessert and a drink from $6. Saturday’s menu is chicken and dumplings, green beans, slaw, dessert and a drink for $8.

There also will be homemade whole pies, cookies and other desserts to take home.
