Chamber Players to perform at IUS

The Music Department at Indiana University Southeast will present the Ceruti Chamber Players, 3 p.m., Jan. 27, at the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center on the IU Southeast campus, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany. Admission is free.


Tea Party meets tonight

The Clark County Tea Partywill meet tonight, Thursday, Jan. 10, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Silver Creek Middle School, 495 N. Indiana Ave., Sellersburg.

Make penguins at the Carnegie Center

The Carnegie Center Free Family Fun Workshop for January will offer Felt Penguin making from 10 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the center, 201 East Spring St., New Albany. Parents should bring an empty cardboard toilet paper roll for each child to use in their construction.

Registration for the workshop is required and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Brain injury group meeting Jan. 17

The January meeting of the Southern Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation will be at 7 p.m., Jan. 17, in the Education Conference Room at Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital, 3401 Blackiston Blvd., New Albany.

All survivors, family, friends or anyone else that has an interest are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served. For more information call 502-819-2542.
