Traffic stop arrests part of drug crackdown

Charlestown residents face multiple drug charges



Lenz was preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana more than 30 grams and possession of a controlled substance, all class D felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia, class A misdemeanor. 

Lenz was charged in Clark County Circuit Court No. 3 with possession of paraphernalia in November 2012. The charge was classified as a class A infraction and resulted in a fine, which was paid Jan. 4.

Sanders was charged with residential entry, a class D felony, in November 2012 in Clark County Circuit Court 3. The prosecution is ongoing.

According to Indiana state statute, residential entry takes place when someone knowingly or intentionally breaks  and enters the dwelling of another person. 

Court records had not been updated to show the upcoming court dates of Lenz and Sanders at press time.
