Jeffersonville encourages trick-or-treating Oct. 30

The Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation Department released information on a trio of annual events in a press release Tuesday.

• Halloween Downtown will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27. The event takes place on Spring Street, between Market Street and Court Avenue.

• Trick-or-treating will take place citywide from

6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 30.

• Light Up Jeffersonville will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 4 in Warder Park, located in the 100 block of East Court Avenue.

Additional details for each event will be released in the coming weeks. The city said trick-or-treating is being moved to a Thursday night because of potential conflicts with high school football teams possibly playing in sectional finals set for Friday, Oct. 31.
