Meeting to cover bike and pedestrian plans

The city of Jeffersonville will present its draft version of its Bicycle and Pedestrian Comprehensive Plan to the public at a meeting at the end of May.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the city council chamber at Jeffersonville City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court. At the meeting, project planners will ask the public to discuss the plan and give feedback.

Jeffersonville’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Comprehensive Plan is in its draft plan stage and its purpose is to coordinate the development of its walking and bicycle facilities. The city and its consultants are identifying the best routes for connecting visitors and residents to pertinent landmarks like schools, parks and business by way of bicycle and walking routes.

For more information or questions regarding the meeting or the plan, contact Jeffersonville Director of Planning and Zoning Shane Corbin at or 812-280-4712.
