— We’ve got you covered for family-friendly fun this weekend in the region. Here are some top picks for this weekend:

Cleanup New Albany

• WHEN: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday

• WHERE: 100 E. Spring St.

• ADMISSION: Elbow grease

• WHAT’S GOING ON: From individual volunteers to clubs and scout troops, there will be plenty to do Saturday so anyone interested is asked to attend.

Volunteers will need to bring their own work gloves, rakes, shovels and weed-pullers. Participants are asked to sign-in at the MainSource Bank parking lot, located at 100 E. Spring St., before beginning work. The event is sponsored by Keep New Albany Clean and Green, Develop New Albany and the Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County. [nacleanandgreen.com]

Walk and Roll fundraiser

• WHEN: 11 a.m. [registration at 10:30 a.m.] Saturday

• WHERE: Sam Peden Community Park, New Albany

• COST: Registration fee is $10 for adults 14 and over. Children under 14 can walk free with an adult. Benefits the Moving Forward Limb Loss Support Group. Funds raised by the event will be used to make care packages for amputees in the community. The course is approximately one mile long and is wheelchair accessible. Book Sale

• WHEN: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday

• WHERE: New Albany-Floyd County Public Library, 180 W. Spring St., New Albany

• COST: Prices vary; benefits the Friends of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library

Halloween Storytelling

• WHEN: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday

• WHERE: George Rogers Clark home site, located at the lower end of the Falls of The Ohio at the Falls of the Ohio State Park, 201 W. Riverside Drive, Clarksville

• COST: $5 age 19 and older; $2 age 18 and younger; under 2 free

• WHAT’S GOING ON: Listen to Halloween-appropriate stories by local storytellers. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the tales will be only mildly scary. In the evening, listen to more creepy tales. [fallsoftheohio.org]

Third annual Saturday In The Park

• WHEN: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday

• WHERE: Central Park, Fourth and Magnolia, Louisville

• COST: Free

• WHAT’S GOING ON: There will be a tree climbing competition with the Kentucky Arborist Association and Olmstead Conservancy, interactive theater for children, live music, a tennis clinic, strolling performers, student performances and evening showings of Halloween-themed movies on a big screen. The Louisville Food Truck Association will offer food and refreshments for purchase. Several area restaurants will offer special prices during the event as well. [kyshakespeare.com]
