Charlestown chili supper and auction

The Charlestown High School baseball team will have a chili supper and auction on Saturday, Feb. 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, located on Gospel Road in Charlestown.

Tickets are $5 each and includes a bowl of chili, dessert and drink. A fundraiser auction also will be held with many items available for bid.

Tickets can be purchased anytime from now until the doors open on Saturday, Feb. 25. 

For more information, contact Charlestown head baseball coach Ricky Romans at 502-641-2883. All proceeds will benefit Charlestown Pirate baseball.

Jeff selling sectional tickets

Jeffersonville High School is selling tickets to the boys’ basketball team’s first-round matchup against Seymour at the Class 4A Seymour Sectional on Tuesday, Feb. 28. 

Tickets will be sold to season-ticket holders on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. 

Tickets will be sold to the general public on Monday, Feb. 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. 

 

Floyd Central sectional tickets

Tickets for the Floyd Central-New Albany game in the first round of the Class 4A Seymour Sectional on Tuesday, Feb. 28 are on sale. 

Tickets are $6 and are available for purchase from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Floyd Central High School. Sectional tickets will also be on sale Friday during Floyd Central’s game at Charlestown.

Salem sectional tickets for sale at Charlestown

Advanced ticket sales to Charlestown’s first-round game on Wednesday, Feb. 29 against Corydon Central at the Class 3A Salem Sectional begin this week. 

The tickets will be sold at Charlestown High School’s Student Services Center on Feb. 23-24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Feb. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. 

Tickets cost $10 per session.
