HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Monday’s slate affected by rain

Floyd at NA softball postponed to Wednesday

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — Rain forced the postponement of several area high school athletic events on Monday.

The following is a list of events that were called off with a make-up time and date provided if the event got rescheduled:

GIRLS’ TENNIS

• Paoli at Borden — 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Charlestown at Floyd Central.

• Jeffersonville at New Albany — 4:30 p.m. next Monday.

• Providence at Clarksville.

BASEBALL

• Eastern at Charlestown — 5 p.m. on Monday, May 12.

• Louisville Eastern at Jeffersonville.

• Henryville at New Washington — Wednesday, May 21, time TBD.

• Providence at Louisville St. Xavier.

SOFTBALL

• Seymour at Charlestown — 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13.

• Floyd Central at New Albany — 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

• Lanesville at New Washington.

• Clarksville at Borden.

TRACK AND FIELD

• Christian Academy, Clarksville and Southwestern at Borden.

• North Harrison and Rock Creek at Providence.

In addition, the Providence at Jeffersonville baseball that got postponed earlier this season has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday at Poole Field. Also, the Floyd Central versus Providence softball game on Friday has been moved to Providence. The first pitch will be at 5 p.m.
