LITTLE LEAGUE 13-14 SOFTBALL: Jeff clinches top seed in state finals at South Bend

Teague, Tincher combine for two-hitter

SOUTH BEND — Jeff/GRC scored 10 runs in the first three innings to beat Zionsville 11-1 and finish pool play 3-0 at the 13-14-year-old Little League softball state finals at South Bend.

Jeff is the No. 1 seed in the single-elimination tournament, which begins today Rush County at 10 a.m. today. Zionsville and South Bend Waggoner will face in today’s other semifinal with the winners playing for the state championship at 12:30 p.m.

In Friday’s win, Camry Teague and Jenna Tincher combined on a two-hitter. Juliette Schuur scored three times and knocked in a run. Tincher scored twice and had two RBIs.
