Jeff Parks All-Sports Camp
The Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation would like to invite all kids that will be entering grades 3-8 to its 2013 All-Sports Camp, which will run July 22-26 and include instruction in many different sports.
Jeff Parks will receive help from numerous Jeffersonville High School coaches.
The setup for the camp will include two sessions per day, which will allow the kids to learn different sports per session.
Session 1 each day will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and session 2 will run from 1-4 p.m. Between each session, a small lunch will be provided each day.
The sport sessions will take place Monday through Thursday. On Friday, each participant will enjoy the day at the Jeffersonville Aquatic Center for a morning of excitement in the pool.
Pizza will be offered during this time frame. The camp will officially conclude at noon on Friday, and all participants will be picked up at the aquatic center at that time.
The cost for the weeklong event is $50 per individual, which will include a 2013 All-Sports Camp T-shirt. Registration forms can be picked up at the Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation main office, which is located at the City Hall Building, 500 Quartermaster Ct., Suite 212. Campers also can register online at www.jeffparks.org. Registration deadline is Friday, July 19.
Campers are asked to continue to check www.jeffparks.org for the official outline of the camp.
The site will have all information on dates, times, locations, and exact sports offered per day. Jeff Parks will do everything it can to accommodate each sport in the event of inclement weather.
Because Jeff Parks cannot offer a rainout make-up date or dates, it might have to switch an inside sport with an outside sport on a given day. This information will be updated on www.jeffparks.org.
For more information concerning the camp, please contact Jeff Parks assistant superintendent of sports and athletics Ricky Romans at 812-285-6440 or via email at email@example.com.
