Josh Sampson (Wabash wrestling, New Washington graduate, Sr.) - top performance: first in the 165-pound division at the North Central (Ill.) College Wrestling Tournament on Saturday with a 3-0 record; notes: The Little Giants won the tournament with 147 points.

Brandon Beam (IU South Bend men’s basketball, So.) - top performance: team-high 17 points, shooting 6-of-8 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line, team-high three assists and two steals in the Titans’ 73-65 win at IU Kokomo on Sunday; team records: 4-7 overall, 0-2 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
• Chris Beam (IU South Bend men’s basketball, Sr.) - top performance: 15 points, shooting 1-of-10 from the field, 0-of-3 from 3-point range and 13-of-16 from the free-throw line, seven rebounds and team-high three assists in the Titans’ 73-65 victory at IU Kokomo on Sunday; team records: 4-7 overall, 0-2 CCAC.

Cody Banet (IU East men’s basketball, Sr.) - weekly stats: 7.5 points per game, 6-21 field goals, 3-7 3-pointers, nine rebounds, three assists; top performance: 11 points, shooting 4-of-10 from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range, and two rebounds in the Red Wolves’ 86-85 win at Berea last Friday; team records: 5-10 overall, 1-2 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Brigid Morrissey (Furman women’s basketball, Sr.) - weekly stats: 12 points per game, 6-16 field goals, 2-7 3-pointers, 10-13 free throws, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals; top performance: 12 points, shooting 3-of-9 from the floor, 1-of-5 from 3-point range and 5-of-7 from the line, game-high seven assists, and five rebounds in the Paladins’ 79-72 victory at Coastal Carolina on Sunday; team records: 6-5 overall, 1-1 Southern Conference.
Jennifer Smith (Bellarmine women’s basketball, So.) - notes: seven points, three rebounds and game-high two blocked shots in the Knights’ 61-55 home win over Lee last Thursday; team record: 3-2.

Casey Guernsey (Bellarmine women’s swimming, So.) - notes: 24th in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:36.29), 61st in the 200 individual medley preliminaries (2:35.41), 74th in the 200 free prelims (2:19.76) and 87th in the 50 free prelims at the Nova Southeastern University Sharks Invitational this weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
