• Chris Beam (IU South Bend men’s basketball, Borden graduate, Sr.) — bi-weekly stats: 13.3 points per game, 11-27 field goals, 1-6 3-pointers, 17-20 free throws, nine assists, eight rebounds, four steals; top performance: team-high 19 points, shooting 4-of-9 from the floor, 0-of-2 from 3-point range and 11-of-13 from the line, six rebounds, four assists and game-high three steals in the Titans’ 92-76 win at Purdue North Central on Dec. 19; team records: 6-8 overall, 2-2 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

• Aidan McEwen (Taylor men’s basketball, Fr.) — notes: team-high four assists, two rebounds and two steals in the Trojans’ 76-66 loss to Madonna at the Madonna Crusader Classic on Dec. 17 in Livonia, Mich.; team records: 7-6 overall, 1-2 Crossroads League.



FLOYD CENTRAL

• Cody Banet (IU East men’s basketball, Sr.) — top performance: 10 points, shooting 4-of-10 from the floor, 1-of-2 from 3-point range and 1-of-2 from the free-throw line, and game-high nine rebounds in the Red Wolves’ 96-78 home win over IU Kokomo on Dec. 17; team records: 6-11 overall, 2-2 KIAC.

• Tori Kingsley (IU Southeast women’s basketball, Fr.) — bi-weekly stats: two points per game, 1-2 field goals, 2-2 free throws, three rebounds; notes: four points in the Grenadiers’ 82-75 win at Taylor on Dec. 21; team records: 6-4 overall, 2-0 KIAC.

• Casey Guernsey (Bellarmine women’s swimming, So.) — notes: 30th in the 100-yard breaststroke preliminaries (1:16.71), 31st in the 200 breast prelims (2:50.64) and 82nd in the 100 freestyle prelims (1:06.29) at the Nova Southeastern University Sharks Invitational Dec. 16-17 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.



JEFFERSONVILLE

• VJ Billups (Hanover men’s basketball, So.) — bi-weekly stats: 4.5 points per game, 4-8 field goals, 1-3 3-pointers, six rebounds, two assists; notes: nine points, five rebounds and two assists in the Panthers’ 73-72 victory at Thomas More on Dec. 17; team records: 6-3 overall, 2-1 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

• Kegan Clark (IU Southeast men’s basketball, Sr.) — bi-weekly stats: seven points per game, 6-9 field goals, 0-2 3-pointers, 2-4 free throws, six rebounds, three assists; notes: eight points, four rebounds and two assists in the Grenadiers’ 103-85 win at Asbury on Dec. 18; team records: 7-3 overall, 2-0 KIAC.

• Jasi Coureur (West Virginia Tech wrestling, Fr.) — notes: 3-4 record this season, as he earned a couple of wins to help the Golden Bears post a 3-1 record at the Green Terror Duals in Westminster, Md., last November.

• Evan Maschmeyer (St. Joseph’s (Pa.) men’s basketball, Jr.) — notes: two points and two assists in the Hawks’ 88-77 victory at Loyola (Md.) on Dec. 21; team record: 7-4.

• Lakin Roland (Dartmouth women’s basketball, So.) — bi-weekly stats: 11.3 points per game, 15-30 field goals, 4-9 free throws, 30 rebounds, three assists, two steals; top performance: game-high 13 points, shooting 6-of-10 from the floor and 1-of-4 from the line, and game-high 12 rebounds in the Big Green’s 54-43 home loss to La Salle at the Blue Sky Classic on Sunday in Hanover, N.H.; team record: 1-10.

• Alonzo Shepherd (Indiana wrestling, So.) — notes: Shepherd is redshirting this season, but he has been competing in some open tournaments; he has posted a 5-3 record at 125 pounds this season; earlier this season, Shepherd finished second at the Keystone Classic in Pennsylvania and third at the Trine Invitational in Northern Indiana.

• Nick Stewart (Lindenwood-Belleville wrestling, Fr.) — notes: 1-2 record this season, competing in matches at 125, 133 and 141 pounds.



NEW ALBANY

• William Barber (Spalding men’s basketball, Sr.) — top performance: 17 points, shooting 5-of-8 from the field, 2-of-4 from 3-point range and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line, four rebounds and two assists in the Golden Eagles’ 78-69 win at Transylvania on Dec. 21; team records: 4-5 overall, 2-0 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

• Kamaren Cole (Danville Area Community College women’s basketball, So.) — notes: four points and team-high two assists in the Jaguars’ 84-51 home loss to Lake Land on Dec. 18; team record: 8-5.

• Kayton Cole (Danville Area Community College women’s basketball, So.) — notes: two points, team-high two assists and two steals in the Jaguars’ 84-51 home setback to Lake Land on Dec. 18; team record: 8-5.

• Donnie Hale (Bellarmine men’s swimming, So.) — notes: Hale is now eligible to play for the Knights after spending the early part of his college career at Purdue; team record: 8-0.

• Parker Henes (IU Southeast men’s basketball, Jr.) — bi-weekly stats: two points per game, 1-2 field goals, 2-2 free throws, five rebounds; notes: four rebounds and two points in the Grenadiers’ 103-85 win at Asbury on Dec. 18; team records: 7-3 overall, 2-0 KIAC.

• Rachel Klein (Bellarmine women’s swimming, Fr.) — notes: 14th in the 400 freestyle relay (3:40.46) and 39th in the 100 free preliminaries (55.38) at the Nova Southeastern University Sharks Invitational Dec. 16-17 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

• Tanner Marcum (Southern Indiana women’s basketball, Fr.) — notes: two assists in the Screaming Eagles’ 90-64 victory over Trevecca Nazarene at the MetroMedical Solutions Bellarmine Classic on Dec. 20; team record: 6-2.

• Jordy Martin (Rose-Hulman men’s basketball, Sr.) — notes: two assists and two steals in the Engineers’ 85-80 home victory over John Carroll on Dec. 21; team records: 7-3 overall, 2-1 HCAC.

• TeNale Roland (Utah State men’s basketball, Sr.) — bi-weekly stats: 3.8 points per game, 5-15 field goals, 3-9 3-pointers, 2-3 free throws, nine assists, four rebounds; notes: five points, three assists and two rebounds in the Aggies’ 71-50 win over Troy at the Basketball Travelers Inc., Classic on Dec. 21 in Logan, Utah; Utah State won the tournament title in the round-robin event; team record: 10-2.

• A.J. Schmidt (McKendree men’s basketball, So.) — bi-weekly stats: 1.5 points per game, 1-2 field goals, 1-2 3-pointers, five assists, four rebounds; notes: three points, three assists and two rebounds in the Bearcats’ 80-75 double-overtime home victory over Benedictine University-Springfield on Dec. 20; team record: 6-2.

• Kallie Ash (Spalding women’s basketball, Jr.) — notes: five rebounds, three points and team-high three assists in the Golden Eagles’ 74-62 loss to Occidental on Saturday at the D3Hoops.com Classic in Las Vegas; team records: 1-6 overall, 1-1 SLIAC.

• Dalton Duley (Spalding men’s basketball, Fr.) — notes: two points in the Golden Eagles’ 78-69 victory at Transylvania on Dec. 21; team records: 4-5 overall, 2-0 SLIAC.
