• Katy Schad (Marshall volleyball, Sr.) — weekly stats: 50 digs, 48 kills, five blocks, two aces, one assist; top performance: match-high 19 kills, 16 digs and match-high five blocks in the Thundering Herd’s 3-1 victory over Maryland-Baltimore County last Saturday at the East Carolina Pirate Invitational; notes: Schad earned a spot on the Pirate Invitational all-tournament team; team records: 11-4 overall, 1-0 Conference USA.

CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

• Drew Mattingly (Huntington men’s soccer, Jr.) — weekly stats: seven saves; top performance: six saves in the Foresters’ 2-0 home win over Rochester (Mich.) last Saturday; notes: it was Mattingly’s fourth shutout of the season; team record: 5-2-2.

• Garrett Blackman (Southern Indiana men’s cross country, Jr.) — notes: 25th in the open race at the Indiana Intercollegiates last Friday in Terre Haute, 27:21.2.

• Kyle Bramble (Dartmouth football, Fr.) — notes: Bramble played in the Big Green’s 35-7 home win over Butler last Saturday; team record: 1-0.

• Will Cox (Southern Indiana men’s cross country, Jr.) — notes: 19th in the open race at the Indiana Intercollegiates last Friday in Terre Haute, 27:09.8.

• Laura Der (Marshall volleyball, Jr.) — weekly stats: 36 digs, 32 kills, four aces, two blocks; top performance: match-high 13 kills, 11 digs and two blocks in the Thundering Herd’s 3-0 victory over Coastal Carolina last Friday at the East Carolina Pirate Invitational; team records: 11-4 overall, 1-0 Conference USA.

• Alysen Shireman (Campbellsville women’s soccer, So.) — notes: Shireman has started in the Tigers’ last three contests - a double-overtime scoreless tie at Mt.
