• Shelby Miller (Maryville (Mo.) women’s basketball, Jr.) — weekly stats: 11.5 points per game, 8-24 field goals, 1-11 3-pointers, 6-8 free throws, 13 rebounds, five assists, two steals; top performance: team-high 20 points, shooting 7-of-15 from the field, 1-of-6 from 3-point range and 5-of-6 from the line, team-high eight rebounds and three assists in the Saints’ 95-83 home win over St. Joseph’s on Saturday; notes: Miller became the eighth player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau in Saturday’s victory; team records: 13-9 overall, 6-6 GLVC.

• Chris O’Connor (Marian men’s track, Sr.) — top performance: first in the high jump at the UIndy Relays last weekend in Indianapolis, 1.98 meters.


• James Borengasser (Spalding men’s track, Borden native, Sr.) — notes: 13th in the 3,000 at the Tiger Small College Indoor Track and Field Invitational last Friday in Greencastle, 10:39.58.

• Jaime Leon (Thomas More men’s track, Jeff native, Louisville Trinity graduate, So.) — notes: 14th in the mile run at the Anderson University Indoor Invitational on Saturday, 5:37.91; 23rd in the 800, 2:35.72.
