• Alexis Bauer (Samford volleyball, Floyds Knobs native, Louisville Sacred Heart graduate, Sr.) — weekly stats: 34 digs, seven assists, two aces; top performance: match-high 18 digs, three assists and match-high two aces in the Bulldogs’ 3-0 home win over Western Carolina last Friday; team records: 10-6 overall, 2-0 Southern Conference.

• Nate Combs (Army football, New Albany native, Louisville St. Xavier graduate, Sr.) — notes: two tackles in the Black Knights’ 49-37 loss last Saturday at Wake Forest; team record: 0-3.

• Logan Fry (St. Mary-of-the-Woods women’s cross country, Charlestown native, Louisville Sacred Heart graduate, Jr.) — notes: 57th at the Otterbein Invitational last Saturday, 21:34.4.
