IU East guard Cody Banet has been named to the All-Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Team for the 2012-13 school year.

The Floyd Central graduate was one of 29 Red Wolves’ athletes to be selected to the squad. To be eligible for the team, Banet had to have a 3.25 cumulative grade-point average after at least two semesters of attendance at a KIAC institution.

Banet was a junior last season at IU East, averaging 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
