“Mary, did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy would save your sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you’ve delivered, will soon deliver you. Oh, Mary, did you know?”
It isn’t long into the holiday season before someone will speak of the real “reason for the season.” Just as Charlie Brown and the “Peanuts” gang stand around the skinny tree with nearly bare branches pondering the meaning of Christmas, stand around your fully decorated tree and wonder. Did you know that Christmas is more than tinsel and garland and lights? Did you know that Christmas is more than good deals and candy and surprise? Did you know that Christmas is more than us giving gifts? Did you know that Christmas is a loving God giving a gift to you?
With his impish grin, let Mark ask you this Christmas, “Did you know … ?”
