I am the Father of three of finest children any Father could ask for. My finest inspiration comes from my two year old daughter as she tells me that she is her daddy’s angel baby girl and we need to through those stinking boys in the lake ( referring to her two older brothers). My children are truly a blessing from above.”
1) Why are you running for this position?
“The Understanding that the coroner’s office has remained virtually dormant for many years. The people of Clark County deserve elected officials that take an in depth approach to performing their job. Clark County remains decades behind other Indiana counties in the Coroners positions. Passion towards service for my community is where I stand. The Coroners office is but an entry level to the many years of community service I will offer to Clark County.”
2) What is the most important issue facing this position and what is your plan to resolve it?
“Clark County remains decades behind other counties in the investigative field from the level of the coroners office. Speaking to area coroners from neighboring counties they simply say “ Ya, you boys got some problems over there in Clark County when it come to the Coroners office. Don’t ya?” This does not need to be the case. Clark County has the perfect capability to set the example for the rest of the counties in Indian. For years there have been Hundreds of Thousands passed up in federal and state funds that could be ascertained for Clark County and passed on for proper investigative operations both for the Coroners office and the County Sheriff’s Office, however our 110 + years of a “ Coots ” as coroner has produced nothing. Clark County doesn’t even have its own Coroners Vehicle as our neighboring county’s have multiple. Clark County will rise into the future with Koch as Coroner and set the example for many counties to follow.”
3) What unique contribution will you make to local office?
“I will offer fresh ideas that have never been inserted into the county. Indiana has recently passed a new ruling forcing coroners to receive special state mandated education classes. Classes that force the coroners office to be true investigators. I will offer my investigative nature and discipline for the truth into the office of Coroner. My contribution to Clark County will reflect an aggressive nature towards expanding the role the coroners office has in our county. I promise that Coroner Adam Koch or one of his assistants will show up at every call that is made for the Coroner to perform his duties, unlike historical operations.”
4) Have you ever been convicted of a non-traffic court crime in the United States? If so, please explain all relevant instances.
“No Relevant Actions.”
