Moore available to visit neighborhoods
Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore is reminding residents he will once again be available in the new year to visit with them at their neighborhood’s meetings.
“We need to get the word out because many of our residents are still not aware that I am available to attend these meetings,” Moore said in a press release. “In 2012, I was able to meet with residents of more than 20 of our neighborhoods. I want to continue to keep the lines of communication open and get even more people involved in 2013."
The neighborhood meetings allow residents of the city to discuss issues, ask questions or find out more information about the issues important to their part of the city, the release said.
