New Albany Independence Day celebration

New Albany Mayor Jeff Gahan is inviting everyone to the 2013 Independence Day Festival at the New Albany Amphitheater Wednesday, 5 p.m., July 3.  This festival is a family-friendly event to help celebrate the July 4th holiday. This year's event will feature live music, food, drinks and fireworks. The event is free to all, so be sure to grab your blankets or lawn chairs and come join in the fun. Fireworks are set to begin at 9:45 p.m.
