New Albany summer concert series lineup announced

Artists start performing May 30 at Bicentennial Park

NEW ALBANY — The New Albany Bicentennial Park Summer Concert Series begins May 30 with a performance by the jazz band Billy Goat Strut Review.

The free concert series is hosted by the city of New Albany, and is held in the park at the corner of Spring and Pearl streets each Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. through June.

The Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County and 91.9 WFPK are sponsors of the series. Here’s the full lineup:

• May 30: Billy Goat Strut Review

• June 6: Barefoot Movement

• June 13: James Wallace and the Naked Light

• June 20: Machines are People Too

• June 27: Appalatin
