NEW ALBANY —
Musician and environmental advocate Jamey Aebersold will be the keynote speaker at the annual meeting of Trash Force, Inc., on Sunday.
The event, which will also feature a musical performance by Aebersold, will be held at 5 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church’s Carriage House, 1015 E. 11th St., New Albany.
“Trash Force has a long tradition of educating the public about recycling and solid waste issues,” said Warren Nash, president of Trash Force. “This year’s annual meeting will continue that tradition with Jamey Aebersold speaking about his experiences as a musician and health and environmental advocate.”
The event will feature a social hour with hors d’oeuvres beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a “pot luck” dinner at 6 p.m. Aebersold will speak and perform as part of the dinner program. The organization will also hold a brief meeting to elect new officers for the 2013-14 term.
