Spaghetti fundraiser set
The Sanctuary House is a new ministry in the Southern Indiana area to serve women who want to break free from their destructive life patterns. These women may be from many different situations. These situations may be from abuse, addictions, prison or jail or perhaps homelessness.
The Sanctuary House provides transitional living, life skills, support groups and lots of love and mentoring. This begins with acknowledging that true healing comes from a partnership between God and people. God does the healing, but that starts with a desire to change, according to a press release.
To raise funds, the organization will host a spaghetti supper at 6 p.m. Friday, April 12. Doors open at 5:30 at Cornerstone Community Church, 6639 St. Mary’s Road, Floyds Knobs. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for those 10 and younger.
There will also be an information table about the ministry and volunteering opportunities, along with booths selling T-shirts, cookbooks and coffee cups. More information about The Sanctuary House is available on the website at thesanctuaryhouse.org. Prospective volunteers should email firstname.lastname@example.org
