Power of Pink gala sold out

American Cancer Society to benefit

JEFFERSONVILLE — The Inaugural Power of Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Gala scheduled for tonight at Kye’s in Jeffersonville is sold out.

The event, designed to help raise funds for breast cancer awareness and funding, has been organized by the News and Tribune and sponsored by more than 30 area businesses. Available tables reached capacity Wednesday evening, according to event organizers.

The Power of Pink committee hopes to raise as much as $10,000 for the American Cancer Society.
