4-H hosting consignment auction
The Clark County 4-H Corp. will be sponsoring its 11th annual consignment auction at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds, 9608 Ind. 62, Charlestown.

This is Clark County 4-H’s largest fundraiser.
Optimist clubs holding breakfast
The Jeffersonville Optimist Clubs are sponsoring a breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8 to 11 a.m. March 16 at the William B. Scott Optimist Building, 61 Louise St., Jeffersonville. The charge is $5 per child and includes breakfast and crafts. An egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. at no charge for the children of the community.

Youth dinner to help fund trip
The youth of Grace Family Worship Church of God, 202 E. Maple St., Jeffersonville, are having a youth dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the church.
Proceeds will help defray the cost of their trip to Winterfest 2013, in Knoxville, Tenn.
Eat-in and carry-out meals — all homemade — will be offered.
Adult meals cost $10; children 6 to 12, $5; and children 5 and under eat for free. The dinner will consist of spaghetti/baked ziti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and drink. A pie auction will also be held.

Annual coon supper set
Owen Township Homemakers Club’s annual coon supper will begin at 5 p.m. March 16 at the Hibernia Community Building. The price is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12 years old.
A drawing for a handmade quilt and several other items will also be held. Tickets for the drawing are $1 per ticket or six tickets for $5. You do not have to be present to win.
