NEWS AND TRIBUNE BRIEFS — For June 24

(Continued)

This is the fourth year for the Jeffersonville ArchiCamp. Winner of a prestigious award from the American Association for State and Local History, ArchiCamps encourage children to use their imaginations and powers of observation while teaching them about history, architecture, and renovation.

Cost of the camp is $35 and includes refreshments, educational materials and souvenirs. Transportation to and from New Albany will also be provided. Campers should bring a sack lunch both days. Enrollment for the camp is limited to 15 children. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available.

Reservations for ArchiCamp must be made by July 15. For more information, contact Laura Renwick at Indiana Landmarks, 812-284-4534 or lrenwick@indianalandmarks.org.
