SILVER LINING: New senior living, health provider opens in New Albany

NEW ALBANY — The Villages at Historic Silvercrest Executive held its ribbon-cutting Thursday afternoon. Historic Silvercrest has served the New Albany community first as a hospital from 1938 until 1975, and then as a Children’s Development Center from 1976 until 2006. It will employee approximately 120 staff members when fully staffed. It has senior living/senior health services with independent living apartments/villas on the property.
