The New Albany volleyball team rebounded from a loss to Providence earlier in the week by dropping Silver Creek in three games at The Doghouse 25-12, 25-17, 25-13 on Senior Night.
As expected, the New Albany and Floyd Central boys’ soccer teams each cruised to victories in their first-round games of the New Albany Sectional at Prosser Field on Wednesday.
The status quo in local boys’ soccer looks as if it’s been maintained this season, with usual suspects like Floyd Central, New Albany, Providence and Jeffersonville fighting for favorite status entering the postseason. Now it’s time to prove it.
