• Notes: Godfrey doubled to lead off the bottom of the first inning. He then scored the Braves’ first run from third base on a sacrifice fly by teammate Jordan Edgerton. In the bottom of the seventh, he collected a one-out single to center. After stealing both second and third, he came home on another Edgerton sacrifice fly. 



At Burlington Athletic Stadium, Burlington, N.C.

• Score: Burlington Royals 7, Braves 2.

• AB: 4.

• RBI: 0.

• Notes: Godfrey smacked a one-out single to left in the top of the third. Later in the frame, he scored on a two-run home run by Edgerton.

• Season: 18-for-49 (.367 batting average), 28 total bases, 14 runs scored, 8 doubles, 3 stolen bases, 1 triple, .956 OPS, .571 SLG, .385 OBP. Godfrey currently leads the Appalachian League in runs scored and doubles. He also is fifth in hits and slugging percentage, sixth in batting average, seventh in total bases and ninth in OPS.

• Team record: 11-4 (three-game lead over Princeton Rays in AL East).
