• Creek downs Trinity Lutheran in three:
Liz Mann delivered nine kills and two service aces in host Silver Creek’s 25-13, 25-18, 25-21 victory over Trinity Lutheran on Monday.

Dragons’ senior Danni Densford had eight kills and three aces. Also for Silver Creek, setter Caitlyn Ramser distributed 21 assists and Brynn Ware made nine digs.

“Trinity Lutheran always has a good program. We just focused on continuing to get better,” Dragons’ coach Jeff Zimmerman said.

• Warriors upend Crawford: Sierra Rayzor spiked 16 kills to lead visiting Christian Academy to a 25-8, 25-11, 19-25, 25-8 win at Crawford County on Monday.

The Warriors’ Krista Boesing had 10 kills and a team-high seven aces. Teammate Emily Haworth recorded eight kills and five aces, while CAI setter Alex Falcone had 37 assists and five aces. The Warriors' Alex Lyons had six aces.

“Overall, we played well. Our free-ball game was on tonight and we served aggressively,” Warriors’ coach Walter Pauly said. “Sierra Rayzor had a great hitting game, Emily Haworth played well all the way around, and libero Alex Lyons played a strong defensive match. Alex Falcone took control of the offense.”
