• Borden tops Eastern at Western Hills: Borden shot a team score of 178 to win a dual meet against Eastern on Thursday at Western Hills Golf Course in Salem. The Musketeers fired a 205.

Reilly Gray led the Braves with a 40, followed by teammates T.J. Fraley with a 43 and Kamden Hurst with a 46. Borden’s Tony Wagoner III and Elijah Franklin each fired a 49.

“Reilly and T.J. played really well for us today with Reilly leading us in scoring,” Braves’ coach Tony Wagoner II said. “I’m happy with the progress we have made so far this season.”

The Musketeers’ Tyler Neal earned medalist honors with a 39. Rounding out the scoring for Eastern were Dakota Manzanalez with a 53, Clayton Hein with a 55 and Nick Emmert with a 58.

NEXT: Borden at Southern Indiana Open (Hidden Creek), Saturday; Eastern versus Lanesville (Hidden Creek), Monday.

• Hornets win dual meet: Henryville had two players shoot in the high 30s as it won a dual meet over an incomplete Christian Academy team on Thursday at Hidden Creek Golf Club’s Links Nine course.

The Hornets shot a team score of 161, with Cameron Furnish firing a 38 and Luke Davidson shooting a 39. The Warriors’ Jayson Arrell was the medalist with a 37, while teammate Chris Kidd had a 39.
