The only thing that rang louder than the music on Tuesday night was the laughter of elementary schoolers across Greater Clark County as the school system played host to its bi-annual P.E. Carnival at Jeffersonville High School.

Students from the coorperations 12 elementary schools participated in the action at Johnson Arena with routines that ranged from a parachute display to jump roping and dancing.

Tuesday marked the 36th year and the 18th edition of the event, which takes place every other year.
