NEW SALISBURY —
Borden’s boys’ golf team easily beat three Harrison County opponents in a four-way meet at North Harrison on Wednesday.
T.J. Fraley shot a 37, which was even-par — to lead the Braves to a meet-best 165 — 11 shots better than runner-up Lanesville. North Harrison shot a 177 and South Central with a 204.
Reilly Gray and Kamden Hurst each shot a 41, Tony Wagoner III finished the course in 46 strokes and Eiijah Franklin and Niko Frascella each finished the course in 47 strokes for the Braves.
“We played a played a pretty good match today and shot a new team-low,” Borden coach Tony Wagoner Jr. said. “I’m proud of what we have accomplished so far this season and look forward to sectional to see how we can compete.”

• Clarksville beat Rock Creek, New Wash: Nick Cappola shot a meet-best 40 to lead Clarksville to a three-way win over Rock Creek Academy and New Washington on Wednesday.
The Generals shot a 206, which was nine better than the Lions and 34 ahead of the Mustangs.
Brett Kastetler led Rock Creek with a 44 and Collin Schindler finished with a team-best 61 for New Wash.

• Hornets second at Sunrise: Henryville finished second in a three-way meet at Sunrise Golf Club in Madison on Wednesday.
The Hornets shot a 178 — 24 shots behind first-place Jennings County. Madison Shawe didn’t field a complete team.
Luke Davidson and Mason Edwards led Henryville with 43 apiece at the par-36 course. The Hornet duo was nine shots off the mark set by Jennings medalist Jake Simmons.
Bailey Reister shot a 45, Charlie Lefebvre a 47 and Cameron Furnish a 51 for Henryville.
