H.S. VOLLEYBALL: Floyd Central downs B’town in three

Engle spikes team-high 15 kills to lead Highlanders

FLOYDS KNOBS — The Floyd Central volleyball team defeated Brownstown Central on their Senior Night on Thursday at Highlander Gymnasium with a 25-15, 25-19, 25-17 victory.

Sydney Engle led the Floyd Central attack with 15 kills and a hitting percentage of .609. Teammate Tierney Flaherty had 13 kills and a team-high three blocks.

Teammate Gwyn Jones had seven kills and a team-high three blocks. Floyd Central setter Remi Bowman dished out 39 assists along with six digs. Highlander libero Brooke Hinton made a team-high 19 digs.
