BRAVES KNOCK OUT CAI

BORDEN — Borden jumped out to a 46-10 half-time lead and stayed unbeaten with a 72-32 win at Christian Academy on Saturday.

Four Braves scored in double-figures, led by Carson Casey’s 15. Shelby Kirchgessner and Abby Ellis each scored 12 and Natalie Ruedinger scored in double-figures for the third straight game with 10. Taylor Streander added eight for 3-0 Borden.

In the Warriors’ first home game of the year after eight on the road, Allison Burch scored 13 and Emily Huffaker had seven. Burch hit three 3-pointers in the loss.

“We played very well.” Braves coach Terry Rademacher said. “We did a lot of things well. We passed the ball well and played good defense.”
